20 Jan A new car park in Macherio
In the middle of nowhere in the countryside, the town council, to discredit charges, asks to insert a new parking space and the badge is limited. The project accompanies the idea of making the car park work like a flywheel basin, so as to collect rainwater and convey it to the existing thickets that become the fulcrum around which the car park itself is designed. The shape comes from the natural course of the land and from the presence of trees, developing with sinuous shapes and avoiding overly rigid geometries. The car park is so inserted into the landscape and dissolves into the surrounding countryside.
