16 Jan Historical park in Besana Brianza
In the center of a village that witnessed a huge growth of an architecture of poor quality there is a splendid property that needs to be shielded from the new buildings.
The project of redrawing the new park area stems from the concept “Live the Nature” and was born from the observation of a lily, a plant very dear to the village property.
The lily flower is recalled from the drawing of the parterre, particularly in areas where it would be impossible to insert any vegetation because of the insole.
By emptying and digging the ground we have inserted and hidden the swimming pool, the greenhouse and all the functions, in order to make free the main views. Through the insertion of trees with high trunks we did create a new background and gave value to the main prospective views, thus emphasizing deepness and transforming the place into a true park, in spite of its limited size. Thus, our project allowed to create new harmonies, yet respecting both nature and history.
