Inauguration Vodafone Village

Inauguration on 16th June by President Mario Monti of Vodafone Italia.

On 16 June, Mario Monti, Chairman of the Board of Directors, inaugurated Vodafone Village in Milan, the new Vodafone Italia headquarters, designed with eco-sustainability criteria such as to have earned LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certification.

All the green areas designed in project have been created by landscape architect Patrizia Pozzi and cover a total of 9000 square meters and are developed respecting all the high standards of quality and energy saving.

Worthy of note is the 800 sq.m. photovoltaic garden that extends over the roofs of one of the tallest buildings, around the tax pillars of the systems, which fully respects the criteria of eco-sustainability.
