16 Jan Living Roof in the center of Milan
On the last floor of a Milanese palace of the 15th century, an underused balcony surrounded both the long sides of the apartment.
Our project had the goal to provide a visual and material continuity between the apartment and a small linear living roof.
The current climate change has allowed us to employ Mediterranean trees such as olive and jasmine, that in a very short time have fully covered the external space, providing from inside the apartment a view of blooming vegetation, with prospectives towards the outside space.
