Renovation of the landscape at Move Hotels Venezia Nord

In 2023, Move Hotels Venezia Nord started an investment cycle on the outdoor areas with the aim of enhancing the landscape, offering guests the opportunity to experience the hotel also outdoors, through recreational activities.

Our Studio, through careful landscape regeneration, has planned different interventions that will increasingly put nature at the center of new activities related to hospitality.

The first intervention of 2023, concerned the redevelopment of the internal garden towards the rooms of about 2,000 square meters, designed with vegetable islands that leave large spaces to meadow where it will be possible, in connection with nature, to perform meditation and yoga.

The second batch of interventions has been recently completed and affected the northern area of the property, for about 4,500 square meters, previously used as parking.

The existing heat island was reduced through a de-cementing action and the area was completely regenerated. About 6,000 specimens of plants of various species have been planted, including ornamental and edible fruit trees such as prunus, malus, nespoli etc.

The new green areas are characterised by naturally-bearing species, which can accommodate migratory birds during nesting periods and create an ecosystem favourable to the development of biodiversity. For this reason, numerous fruit trees have been selected, consistent with the characteristics of the land and in line with the landscape tradition of Mogliano.

Guests can enjoy the garden through the pedestrian path that winds in the shade of trees, or enjoy the large central lawn that can accommodate small outdoor events.

The new plant was designed to ensure low water consumption and a draining floor has been used to filter water and return it to the ground, with an eye on environmental sustainability.
