Restoration of the historical park of Villa Litta in Affori

The Ferrovie Nord, on behalf of the Municipality of Milan, ask us to develop the concept and the executive project for the conservative restoration of the Park of Villa Litta adjacent to Affori station. The Park was already open to the public but in a state of abandonment and they wanted to recover it by adding new equipment for outdoor activities, an experience that put us in comparison with the inhabitants of the neighborhood. The project was developed in compliance with the centuries-old trees and the regulations of the City of Milan, the baroque features of the villa have guided us in the redesign of the adjacent surfaces, thus recreating the idea of the ancient parterre revisited in a contemporary key.
