21 Jan A stream in a historic park
In the historical park of Villa Belvedere in Macherio the rainwater collection system was wisely done through the creation of small streams.
These streams with small waterfalls, made of the Presolana block of the Presolana, also served as drinking troughs for the animals. As part of a project for the recovery of the Historical Park, revisited in the early 1900s by the famous architect Alemagna (designer of the Parco Sempione in Milan), new streams were created which, in some cases, flowed into a small lake with overflow.
